Separate the master from the post

The master contains the approved moment, clean audio, corrected captions, and flexible framing. Destination packages add vertical crops, cover frames, account-specific copy, links, mentions, and platform controls.

Do not burn destination logos or one-time calls to action into the only master. Keep textless plates and sidecar captions when possible.

Make framing editorial

A 9:16 crop can hide the person being addressed, a chart, product, or decisive action. Review the vertical version shot by shot. Use split layouts, keyframes, or designed backgrounds when a center crop changes meaning.

Keep important text and faces away from interface zones. Treat the cover as its own asset that must work in a small profile grid.

Track every destination job

Bind the clip ID to destination, account, language, creative version, copy version, and rights scope. Use idempotency keys so retries do not create duplicate posts. Record states from queued through published or withdrawn.

Store destination post IDs and performance data in a linked ledger rather than rewriting the canonical RSS item every time a metric changes.

Respect platform and rights differences

APIs, assisted publishing, music libraries, collaboration features, and account permissions vary. Choose a controlled adapter or final human handoff based on the destination and creative requirements.

Rights can also vary by territory, account, commercial use, and soundtrack. A website-approved clip is not automatically approved for paid social.
